US President Donald Trump yesterday signed two executive orders related to health care worth about the US $ 6.6 billion to replace the Affordable Care Act or Obamacare.

Trump signed the directive while attending a ceremony involving health professionals in Charlotte, Northern California.

"Under the 'America First Healthcare Plan' plan, 33 million recipients will soon receive a US $ 200 card that they can use to buy medicines," Trump said.

Last June, Trump urged the U.S. High Court to repeal the Obamacare law that helps millions own health insurance.

The Act, passed in 2010, prevents insurance companies from allowing individuals with health problems to have insurance.

At the same time, the Trump administration is also implementing new laws that allow U.S. states and territories to import low-cost drugs from Canada.

Trump added that he expects the price of medicines to go down again in the future.

According to Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar, one of the executive directives is aimed at ensuring that Americans with the disease continue to seek health care coverage.
