A judge issued a temporary injunction restraining restrictions on future TikTok app downloads.
According to the BBC, the application is facing restrictions from Apple's app store, App Store and Android, Google Play starting at 11.59 pm US time.
Existing users in the US can still use the application but they can not download TikTok if it is deleted from their phone and will not receive the latest updates.
District Court Judge for the District of Columbia, Carl Nichols issued the injunction yesterday afternoon at the request of TikTok.
In a statement issued by TikTok, they were happy with the decision and promised to defend their rights.
"We are pleased with the court's decision to agree with our legal arguments and issue an injunction that restricts TikTok's restrictions," the statement said.
TikTok stated that the restrictions imposed by force had violated Amendments One and Five of the US Constitution.
TikTok added that blocking some users from downloading the application has restricted their freedom of speech and TikTok's rights have also been violated because they were not given the opportunity to defend themselves first.
The US government had previously claimed that TikTok was the 'official language' of the Chinese Communist Party.
