Is There a Possible Stimulus Package to Be Implemented Before the Election?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi today commented on the Covid-19 stimulus package. Developments in this regard raise the question of whether this stimulus package was implemented?

Pelosi in one of the statements today said it is still possible to get another COVID-19 aid before the November 3 election. But it is up to President Donald Trump to act and negotiate with the opposing Republicans.

Although the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic is becoming more serious, he is optimistic that an agreement can be reached and that the stimulus package will boost the economy. Pelosi added that Trump only needs to convince the Republican Senate.

Pelosi is expected to continue talks with Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, where both parties are determined to reach an agreement worth around $ 2 trillion before the November 3 presidential and congressional elections.

However, the matter has been opposed by some parties. On that basis, White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow said on Friday that he did not want to predict when an agreement would be reached but stressed that there were differences of opinion between Democrats and the administration.
