Dr Scott Gottlieb, a former Food and Drug Administration commissioner under Trump, urged the White House to enforce stricter health protocols after President Donald Trump confirmed positive Covid-19. According to him, the White House needs to take a different approach. Previously, they did not take strict precautionary measures and even failed to protect the US president.
In addition, he revealed that the Covid-19 test conducted by the White House has its drawbacks. Therefore, they need to use more effective detection tests to check staff and visitors.
Even more unfortunate, the president was accused of not practicing preventive measures such as wearing face masks and even holding a campaign attended by many and not practicing social imprisonment. For example, in August, Trump delivered a policy speech at the Republican National Convention in the South House of the White House, attended by more than 1,000 invited guests and did not wear face masks. In addition, the president also recently nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court in a ceremony at the White House, and several individuals present have been confirmed positive for coronavirus.
In this regard, the White House needs to rethink appropriate precautions as the epidemic continues. Even earlier doctors have issued warnings that the country may be entering the most dangerous phase due to Covid-19.
However, the White House did not want to comment on the issue.
