US futures equity fell and the US dollar fluctuated following the heated presidential debate between Donald Trump and his challenger Joe Biden. The debate is seen as quite chaotic causing market concerns to escalate as concerns over the issue of hasty transfer of power could pose a risk.
The market has expressed doubts about whether President Trump will agree to hand over power if he is found dead in the election. In the first debate, Trump refused to do so by giving unfounded arguments. In the Cleveland debate, Trump repeatedly denied Joe Biden's arguments about Trump's taxes, economic development, Covid-19 issues and election integrity.
Analysts are of the opinion that ahead of the elections in November, currency exchange and the stock market will fluctuate more frequently.
Market concerns were more focused on the post-election, as he had made a statement that he refused to commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he lost and said he would take the matter to the Supreme Court.
