Donald Trump is seen as still unable to accept his defeat by continuing to raise doubts about the election results when new US president Joe Biden begins his first move to the White House.

Trump in a statement issued after Biden was announced as president-elect, said the election was still pending.

Joe Biden is alleged to have not been confirmed as the winner in any state, let alone in areas where votes need to be recounted, or the state in which the Trump campaign has submitted legitimate legal claims that will determine the main winner.

Donald Trump also stressed that his team will file a lawsuit as soon as possible today claiming he has a lot of evidence of fraud in this election.

Meanwhile, his son-in-law and wife, Jared Kushner and Melania Trump reportedly advised him to accept this defeat, CNN reported.

Meanwhile, while still showered with congratulations from leaders around the world, Biden has moved on as president-elect by launching his transitional website, BuildBackBetter.com and Twitter @ Transition46.

In addition, Biden is reported to be announcing the line-up of his task force to deal with the coronavirus outbreak today as well as calling on Republicans and Democrats in Congress to discuss a new stimulus package.
