Following the news of the dismissal of Defense Secretary Mark Esper yesterday, it was reported that three more defense officials sent a letter of resignation today as a sign of rebellion against the actions of US President Donald Trump.

The three officers; Acting Secretary of Defense for Policy, Dr. James Anderson, Secretary General of Defense Intelligence and Security, Mr. Joseph Kernan and Chief of Staff Secretary of Defense, Jen Stewart.

The resignation takes effect immediately starting today.

The surprise result raised three names, Anthony Tata, Ezra Cohen-Watnick and Kash Patel to fill the vacancy.

Yesterday it was reported Trump had fired Esper and replaced the post with a new official, Miller who serves as director of the National Counterterrorism Center.

Miller was a former Army Special Forces Officer and the fifth individual to head the Department of Defense during the Trump administration for four years.

Trump's decision was so shocking that only two days the individual received an election defeat after a victory in favor of Joe Biden.
