EU-UK trade negotiations are still far from reaching an agreement on the three main issues that are still lingering to this day, namely the issues of competition, fisheries and dispute resolution. This report was reported from the executive statements of both blocks.

After almost 2 weeks of negotiations between the UK and the European Union to resume free trade between the European Union covering 27 countries and Britain starting in 2021. The talks are in the final stages of signing a new trade agreement on 15 November.

According to a European Commission spokesman, so far there is no solution to the fisheries problem and much work remains to be done. In a separate source, an EU diplomat who participated in the Brexit negotiations said that disputes still existed over the distribution of fish stocks, including Britain's request for an annual quota consultation.

The British side also stated the same thing that there was not much progress in negotiating fisheries issues.

However, the Irish Foreign Minister said separately on Tuesday that he still believed that the EU would enter into an agreement with Britain but it was quite difficult to do so in the remaining time.

The market also focused on the results of the Bank of England (BOE) meeting on Thursday.
