Experts Worry - UK Economic Recovery After Brexit!

Martin Sorrell, one of the leading figures in the UK business arena on Monday, commented on Britain's economic prospects. According to him, the UK could take 5 to 10 years to fully recover from the COvid-19 pandemic due to the huge impact of the pandemic on UK finances and added to rebuild the post-Brexit economy.

The UK recorded the largest number of deaths in Europe due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the largest economic contraction from any G7 country that required the UK administration to inject more than 200 billion pounds into the economy.

The UK is currently in final preparations to leave the European Union on 31 December, and so far has not signed a future trade agreement with the European Union.

Sorrell says it is likely the UK will take 5 to 10 years before the economy fully recovers from Brexit and changes in the industry.

The UK left the EU last January but the UK administration is now working to reach an agreement that will regulate annual trade amounting to almost 1 trillion a year.

Finally, he argues that the country needs to start a new investment program not only in physical infrastructure but also in 5G capabilities and technology capabilities.
