Indonesia is rumored to be fully scrutinizing human resources and logistics requirements for the first round of the COVID-19 vaccination program which is expected to begin at the end of this month or December.

According to reports, the logistical requirements for vaccination include a cold network which is a series of measures coordinated in a controlled temperature environment.

It plays an important role in the storage, management and transportation of vaccines worldwide.

As a result, the Indonesian Ministry of Health has tried to complete the cold network and so far they have managed to achieve 97% preparation

The national administration has also provided 739,722 professional medical officers and 23,145 vaccine officers to work in community health centers and hospitals nationwide.

For now, Indonesia is still waiting for the final test results of the COVID-19 vaccine conducted by the national pharmaceutical company, PT Bio Pharma in collaboration with Sinovac Biotech Ltd China.

The trial is expected to end in January.

Indonesia is so lucky to have managed to get millions of doses of COVID-19 vaccine produced by several Chinese firms and British pharmaceutical companies.
