Through the tracking mission of the founder of Bitcoin (BTC), Satoshi Nakamoto is said to live in London while managing the world's first cryptocurrency.
Is it true?
In one revelation, a mysterious investor known as ‘Satoshi’ on the Bitcointalk forum posted 539 postings.
Also found were 169 uses of SourceForge, metadata from various versions of Bitcoin, genesis block information including records kept by Wayback Machine, a service to view archived versions of websites.
Interestingly, Nakamoto was found to be active through 742 activities in 206 days for the period between 31 October 2008 to 13 December 2010.
Using the data collected, the United Kingdom, the United States (US) East, US Pacific, Japan and Australia emerged as potential locations as Nakamoto residences based on active time.
However, Japan and Australia were immediately eliminated based on time zone indications that were far different from the evidence gathered and the three early countries needed further investigation.
This allegation is further reinforced by Nakamoto's message in the Bitcoin genesis block: "The Chancellor will announce a second stimulus for banks." which appeared in the London newspaper, The Times on 3 January 2009.
In fact, the use of words ending in -ise and -our, such as analyze, neighbor, color often used by Americans, including "bloody" slang reinforces Nakamoto not only living in London but also a British.
