Tesla Inc. revealed that they plan to start manufacturing electric vehicle (EV) chargers in China by 2021, which is part of the US carmaker's efforts to increase sales in the world's largest car market.

For all you know, Tesla, which currently sells Model 3 electric cars in China and plans to ship a Model Y sport utility vehicle by 2021, is said to be investing 42 million yuan in a new factory to make a third generation vehicle charger known as the Supercharger V3 .

In addition, the factory is located near its car factory in Shanghai.

In addition, China, which offers substantial subsidies for electric vehicles driven by efforts to reduce pollution from petrol or diesel cars, has expanded its network of charging points nationwide, one of the biggest challenges to driving the use of EVs.

However, the new Tesla plant is expected to be completed in the first quarter of next year and will have the capacity to make 10,000 chargers a year. Meanwhile, the Shanghai car factory, which is the center of Tesla's global growth strategy, focused on the production of 150,000 Model 3 sedans this year has started exporting several vehicles to Europe.

Following the success of recording sales of more than 13,000 vehicles in China in October, Tesla plans to further expand their research capabilities in Shanghai.

This is because China is now importing EV chargers, which are usually installed at charging stations or parking lots, from the United States.

Therefore, Tesla plans to expand its charging network to provide better services.
