A senior member of the UK consulting team came forward to comment on the recent trade agreement agreement between Britain and the European Union as some were skeptical of the UK's future direction.
According to him, the agreement reached during the day is one of the positive things for the fishing industry. This is because, with the agreement reached, the fishing industry can grow on its own without the intervention of other parties and in fact it has shown positive progress in the transition period for more than 5 years.
Some have criticized the post-Brexit deal by saying that the industry has become a 'scapegoat' in post-Brexit negotiations.
On the other hand, European Union Brexit consultant Michel Barnier also expressed relief by saying on Tuesday that the trade agreement reached with Britain was a relief and provided stability for consumers and companies.
However, Barnier said there were still some elements that needed to be determined in the EU's future relations with Britain, including on foreign policy cooperation.
Most recently, the UK is awaiting formal ratification of the agreement and is working together to address key issues such as climate change. The market is waiting for the UK and EU Parliaments to approve the agreement.
