China Is Not Angry With Australia?

 China will reportedly allow the entry of Australian coal into the country, although sanctions on imports remain under amid rising tensions between Beijing and Canberra.


The cargo of 135,000 tonnes of Australian coal from the Alpha Era ship, which had been stranded for almost six months in the southern port of Fangchenggang, China is expected to pass customs and be used for local use.


Two more vessels, the Donga-A Eos and Dong-A Astrea recently completed the unloading of new Australian coal at the port of Jingtang, while the third vessel, Dong-A Oknos, is in the process.



Earlier, there were reports that China had restricted Australian coal imports from entering the country, causing ships carrying the goods to be stranded at the port for months.


This latest development brings a new light to the market which hopes that the relationship between the two trading partners will be restored after being aggravated by Australia's call to conduct an investigation into Beijing on the origins of the coronavirus.


Meanwhile, in a separate report, Taiwan reportedly increased Australian wine purchases, as opposed to China which has imposed heavy taxes on imports of the goods.
