Top Glove Corporation Bhd has spent RM3.63 million to repurchase 576,900 shares at RM6.30 per day.
According to a statement, the world's largest rubber glove manufacturer revealed that the repurchase of shares this time has increased its net treasury shares to 178.36 million, equivalent to a 2.18% stake.
In addition, the purchase was the third time Top Glove repurchased its own shares in December.
On December 1, the company spent RM49.93 million to repurchase 7.41 million shares between RM6.69 and RM6.79 per unit, as well as purchase 10.35 million shares worth between RM6.70 and RM6.86 each the following day.
Previously, Top Glove had spent RM802.55 million in November and RM354.74 million in September for its share purchase exercise.
Meanwhile, Top Glove shares closed 60 sen lower at RM6.30 today.
