Presidential candidate Joe Biden stressed that several United States (US) security agencies are facing bad effects at the hands of President Donald Trump's administration.

According to Biden, his team did not get the necessary information including information from the Department of Defense, while he was in the process of taking power at this time.

He said this after attending a briefing with foreign policy and national security allies.

According to Biden, his team is facing 'restrictions' from the Department of Defense as well as the Office of Management and Budget.

"Currently, we do not get all the information we need from this government administration in matters of national security.

"In my opinion, this is an irresponsible act," he said.

He added that his team needed to get a clear picture of US military strength around the world and stressed that the US enemy would try to capitalize on the confusion in the US government at this time.

"Many agencies that are critical of our safety have been adversely affected," Biden said.

Earlier, Trump fired Defense Secretary Mark Esper shortly after the election because Esper refused to comply with his directive to order the military to 'fight' with anti-racist protesters.
