Exciting when the world's two major cryptocurrencies, Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin (BTC) managed to set an all-time high (ATH) record in early 2021.
Bitcoin has set an ATH record breaking the $ 34,684 level yesterday local time into the asset worth RM139,117!
The king of cryptocurrencies recorded a profit of around 12% by the third day of 2021, after a 50% price jump in December 2020 since ATH in November of $ 19,793.
Meanwhile, Ethereum also created the ATH record, penetrating to the price level of $ 1,005 (RM4,031) in the short term before returning to decline early this morning.
ETH’s positive price movement convinced investors for the second largest cryptocurrency to continue to soar, surpassing the January 2018 ATH, $ 1,432 before declining to three-digit value starting February of the same year.
Altcoins also did not miss a record rise as BTC dominated the crypto market.
Dogecoin jumped 70% on January 2, VeChain jumped more than 20% today while Litecoin and Maker each recorded a profit of 10%.
In contrast to the Ripple (XRP) currency which is no longer good news, it continued to record a red record, $ 0.23 following the securities issue as alleged by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in mid-December last year.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $ 33,402, jumping 1.9% from a 24-hour low while ETH posted a value of $ 977, up 25% from its low of $ 772.
