In a recent revelation, Tesla founder Elon Musk apparently sold three of his homes in California by December 2020.
Musk's decision to sell his three houses follows his promise in May 2020 which was posted on Twitter, “I am selling almost all of my assets. I will not own a house. ”
Musk's reason is because of "freedom", based on his response to the response of one of the followers.
The three houses sold involved a 6-bedroom mansion with 7 bathrooms sold for $ 29.72 million. Meanwhile, his house, which was characterized by the colonial era in the 60s, was sold at $ 6.77 million and another house with the same characteristics as four bedrooms and 5 bathrooms was sold at $ 4.43 million.
The total sales revenue reached $ 40.9 million!
Musk first sold his home in June 2020. At that time, NetEase CEO William Ding had bought his mansion with 7 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and tennis courts for $ 29 million.
A few months later, Musk sold his next home to filmmaker Jordan Walker-Pearlman for $ 7 million.
If so, where does Musk want to live?
He explained that through The Wall Street Journal last month, he will move to Texas, where the SpaceX rocket launch base and Tesla's new plant are under construction. That way, he would not have to pay national income tax.
