I Will Bring a Pistol in Congress - Boebert

Newly appointed Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is determined to carry a Glock brand pistol during her tenure in Washington DC.

In a video released yesterday, Boebert was seen charging a pistol before walking around the city.

"I will carry my gun in DC and in Congress," he said in the video, which has been watched two million times.

However, Washington DC Police Chief Robert Contee III said he would talk to Boebert about the strict laws to be followed regarding arms carrying activities.

In the last election, Boebert's campaign was seen as vigorously fighting for the issue of arms rights.

"Even though I now work in one of the liberal cities in America, I refuse to give up my rights.

"As a woman who is five feet tall, 100 pounds, I choose to protect myself according to the law because I am the best security," she said.

Members of Congress are allowed to keep weapons in their offices and carry out arms transfers in Washington DC, as long as the weapons are not loaded with ammunition.

However, they need to apply for a permit to carry weapons in public places and weapons from abroad need to be registered with the local authority.
