Trump Accused of Trying to Deceive

U.S. President Donald Trump allegedly ordered Georgia's top election official to 'find a sufficient vote' to change the election results.

"I just want to get 11,780 votes," Trump told Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in a recording released by the Washington Post.

Through the recording, Raffensperger replied that Georgia's election results were accurate.

Based on the footage, Trump threatened Raffensperger would face legal action if he refused to investigate the 'fraud'.

"You know what they did and you did not report it. That is a criminal offense. You cannot allow that to happen. That is a big risk for you and your lawyer.

"You can re-examine it but re-examine it with those who want to find answers, not with those who do not want to find answers," Trump said in the recording.

Since the election results in favor of Joe Biden, Trump has often claimed that there is an element of fraud without providing any evidence.

All 50 states confirmed the election results after several states re-counted and appealed the law. To date, U.S. courts have rejected 60 objections to Biden's victory.

Congress is expected to officially approve the election results on January 6. Biden will be sworn in as President on January 20.
