The world's richest individual, Elon Musk has asked the public to use the messaging app, Signal to replace WhatsApp and Facebook following the recent privacy policy reform.
The announcement was posted by the Tesla CEO on Twitter, "Use Signal," causing the demand for Signal and Telegram messaging applications to increase sharply.

Earlier, Whatsapp introduced a new privacy policy which forced around two billion users to share more personal information including IP address and phone number with the parent company, Facebook.

The Signal app was developed in 2014 by former WhatsApp founder Brien Acton along with cyber security expert and cryptographer Moxie Marlinspike.
The installation of the Whatsapp application for the early 2021 record, decreased by 11% in 7 days. However, the app still survives with 10.5 million downloads worldwide.
Even funnier when Musk's tweet has caused confusion among investors, causing the share price of tracking device manufacturers, Signal Advance to rise 1100% from 60 cents to $ 7.19!
However, the official account of the Signal application uploaded a tweet explaining, that they are a non-profit organization that has received approval by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-free charity.
