Will the clubhouse kill Tiktok?

Are you a fan of TikTok, Twitter or Instagram? Why not try the latest voice and audio based application known as Clubhouse.

The platform allows users to participate in various discussions and conversations with thousands of other users.

Since its launch in March, the Clubhouse has grown into a cultural phenomenon, attracting politicians, celebrities and experts from various fields.

Last Sunday, the co-founder of the application, Paul Davison, said that the number of active users per week has reached up to 2 million people over the past few weeks.

He added that Clubhouse now has 180 investors and is worth about US $ 1 billion.

What makes the app interesting? According to Bloomberg author Kim Tae, Clubhouse is the only app that can build relationships faster because the platform uses an audio system rather than a text or written statement system as is commonly seen on Facebook or Twitter.

Also, the app received a good impression after people looked for a way to socialize while the Covid-19 pandemic season was still going on. The Clubhouse is proven to provide the best facilities and ways for anyone who wants to meet new people or listen to events such as conferences without the need to get out of the house.

According to Tae, Clubhouse also offers potential opportunities to generate its own income in the future. For example, Clubhouse can take a commission from the entrance fee for those who want to have a large-scale group discussion on the platform involved.

The application, however, is only limited to those who register and have received an invitation from the Clubhouse and is only available for Apple devices only.
