Tesla millionaire and founder Elon Musk described the Bitcoin (BTC) surge as ‘almost’ entering the traditional financial markets, describing the king of cryptocurrencies as a good thing.
In an interview today on the social media application site, Clubhouse, Musk also admitted himself as a supporter of Satoshi Nakamoto's assets, "I am a bitcoin supporter despite being late to join this community."
The statement was reminiscent of a Twitter tweet uploaded by Bitcoin Billionaires writer Ben Mezrich last month, "I'm never turning down getting paid in bitcoin again." and the millionaire replied, "Me neither." shows Musk is not hesitant to pay in crypto currency.
Apparently Musk is also aware of every word and tweet from him causing changes in the market and wants to be more careful after this.
Last month, Dogecoin (DOGE) jumped 20% in the 24 hours after Musk uploaded a tweet: "One word: Doge". As for the figure, admit anything involving DOGE from him is just a joke.
The same thing happened last week when BTC suddenly jumped to over $ 37,000 after the millionaire exchanged his Twitter bio with ‘#Bitcoin’. However, the surge did not last long when Bitcoin fell again.
At the time of writing, DOGE is trading at $ 0.034 and BTC is trading at $ 33,817 with a 37.8% and 0.74% jump in 24 hours, respectively.
