The Berlin improvement is scheduled to air on the Ethereum mainnet on April 14th.
Starting with Ropsten’s first testnet upgrade, scheduled for March 10th. Followed by a week -long upgrade to the Goerli and Rinkeby networks on March 17 and March 24.
Ethereum node operators are advised to upgrade to the Berlin version as soon as possible for the three testnests and mainnet before April 7th.
However, crypto exchanges, wallet service providers and Ether token (EHT) owners do not need to do anything to accommodate the latest version.

The current upgrade is known as Devcon 0. After this phase, Ethereum will face the next upgrade, London. At that point, Devcon 1 will take place.
At the time of writing, the price of ETH has seen a jump of almost 7% in 24 hours to $ 1,849.
