SBI Holdings in its latest statement said the reward for its shareholders will be given in the XRP which will end on March 31.
Rewards in XRP better known as ‘Thank You’ rewards were introduced in the first year i.e. August 2019. At that time, shareholders had received 30 XRPs for every ownership of 100 or more shares before the end of 31 March.
Meanwhile, for this year, shareholders are expected to receive 2500 YEN or $ 22.92 (around RM94.25) as a token of appreciation for the support received.
SBI Holdings is one of the largest firms that remains a partner of Ripple.
Directly, support from SBI Holdings further cemented investors' confidence to continue investing as the crypto firm faces a crisis with the Securities and Exchanges Commission (SEC).
For the record, the two firms have agreed as partners starting in 2016 when they formed the ‘SBI Ripple Asia’ coalition to establish the ‘Internet of Value’ in Japan and the rest of the Asian region.
At the time of writing, XRP was trading at $ 0.43, down 4.24% in 24 hours.
