The U.S. derivatives platform, the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) is currently considering re -listing Bitcoin futures after nearly 2 years of the platform dropping cryptocurrency investment instruments. The intention was revealed personally by CBOE CEO Ed Tilly in an interview with Bloomberg.

According to him, the CBOE is still interested in re -listing Bitcoin as one of the instruments as there is a lot of demand from retail investors to institutional investors.

The CBOE was among the first US derivatives exchanges to list Bitcoin futures in December 2017. Based on historical data, following the move, the Bitcoin price has touched a record high of $ 20,000 in December 2017.

However, the CBOE had to drop the cryptocurrency due to lack of demand in the market. This Tally comment comes at a time when institutional demand for Bitcoin is soaring, and the exchange platform is able to reap a lot of profits by re -listing Bitcoin futures.

Analysts believe that if this move can be realized, then a positive trend can be expected in cryptocurrencies. Not only this it will attract more people to plunge into crypto.
