A contagious and memorable video, Charlie Bit My Finger will leave the media platform after being auctioned as a non-fungible token (NFT) on Sunday, May 23.

Featuring footage in 2007, when one -year -old Charlie bit the finger of his 3 -year -old brother Harry, the video sold at a price tag of $ 760,999 (around RM3.25 million) to a bidder known as 3fmusic.

This means, 3fmusic owns the sole rights to the original video of Charlie Bit My Finger, including the chance to make a parody of the recording with the appearance of Harry and Charlie.

For now, the video has garnered over 883 million views and is categorized as ‘unlisted’ and is currently in the NFT decision on the Youtube media site.

Be aware, the NFT market went crazy earlier this year. Although overshadowed by the word crypto, NFT is different from other coins such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and others.

NFT is a digital asset whose owner is not only the only one who owns the copyright and all related information but the asset also cannot be plagiarized or copied.

3fmusic is a music studio located in Dubai, which previously bought the memes "Disaster Girl" ($ 473,000) and "Overly Attached Girlfriend" ($ 411,000).
