Around early this morning, Tesla founder Elon Musk posted a tweet on Twitter that gave the impression that there was good news related to Bitcoin (BTC).

Spoke with North American Bitcoin miners. They committed to publish current & planned renewable usage & to ask miners WW to do so. Potentially promising.

"Finished talking to North American Bitcoin miners. They are committed to working on current and planned renewable uses, and will ask crypto miners around the world to do so. ”

The deal brought the BTC price up to about $ 2,000 from $ 37,000 to $ 39,000.

Reported MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor led the discussion, attended by several executives of bitcoin mining firms such as Argo Blockchain, Blockcap, Core Scientific, Galaxy Digital, HIVE Blockchain, Marathon Digital Holdings, Riot Blockchain and Hut 8 Mining.

Saylor explained in a Twitter tweet, the representatives who attended the meeting had agreed to establish the Bitcoin Mining Council by prioritizing transparency in energy use, thus achieving the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) industry objectives, shaping and expanding the market.

Yesterday I was pleased to host a meeting between @elonmusk & the leading Bitcoin miners in North America. The miners have agreed to form the Bitcoin Mining Council to promote energy usage transparency & accelerate sustainability initiatives worldwide. https://t.co/EHgLZ9zvDK
