 NeXChange Bhd (DNeX) shares and warrants were actively traded during this morning’s trading session after reports emerged saying Foxconn Technology Group was in talks to buy shares of the company.


This morning, DNeX shares traded unchanged at 80 sen with 60.35 million shares traded, bringing its market capitalization to RM1.9 billion.


The company is the 10th most active counter traded on the local bourse.



Meanwhile, the company's warrants declined 0.5 sen or 1.72% to 28.5 sen with 64.58 million shares changing hands, placing it sixth among the most active.


Yesterday, it was reported that Foxconn was eyeing a stake in the company after its bid was overturned by DNeX for semiconductor company, SilTerra Malaysia Sdn Bhd.


“Apple Inc's flagship assembly company for the iPhone is likely to buy a minority stake in DNeX and help grow the business of its chipmaker, SilTerra Malaysia Sdn Bhd.


"DNeX successfully bought SilTerra last February, overtaking Foxconn," Bloomberg reported.
