 Widetech (Malaysia) Bhd emerged as the most profitable counter in the active trading session on Bursa Malaysia so far, today.


At 10.25am, the stock jumped 49 sen or 29.52% to an all -time high of RM2.15, bringing its market capitalization to RM96.22 million.


The counter also saw its 4.55 million shares change hands.


The company, however, has not yet made any corporate announcement other than its notification yesterday regarding securities transactions during the 'closed period'.



Based on his information to the exchange, the company's director, Loh Suan Phang, intends to deal in securities at Widetech during the 'closed period'.


Suan Phang owns 3.53 million shares, representing a 7.89% stake in the company.


Meanwhile, early last month, the company announced that its wholly -owned subsidiary Probusiness Investments Ltd had signed a share sale agreement for the disposal of all 720,000 ordinary shares or 40% equity interest in Goldshore Capital Ltd (GCL) to its director, Ngai Chew Meng for total cash consideration of US $ 1.


Chew Meng is a director and major shareholder of GCL. He currently owns a 60% equity interest in GCL.
