Appoint Independent Valuers, ‘Flying High’ Serba Dinamik Stocks

 Shares of Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd traded higher and became the most active counter in this morning's trading session following a report by Ernst & Young Consulting Sdn Bhd (EY) accepting the company's offer to become an independent valuer.


Shares of Serba Dinamik opened higher at 37 sen per share, compared to 32.5 sen when it closed yesterday.


The stock then slipped to 34 sen before trading at 38 sen.


At 38 sen, the stock traded 5.5 sen or 16.92% higher with a market capitalization of RM1.2 billion.



From a volume perspective, Serba Dinamik shares were most actively traded on Bursa Malaysia with 375 million changing hands.


Apart from that, counters related to Serba Dinamik's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Datuk Dr Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah, namely KPower Bhd and Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) also performed well this morning.


KPower shares rose 8 sen or 12.8% to 70.5 sen while SCIB shares jumped 12.09% or 5.5 sen higher at 50 sen.


Mohd Abdul Karim owns 27.07% stake in Serba Dinamik as well as 32.36% stake in KPower and 36.8% in SCIB.
