Litecoin Records 75% Faster Increase In Transaction Volume Than Bitcoin

In a tweet by @MASTERBTCLTC yesterday, there was a record of transaction growth in the Litecoin (LTC) network which showed a positive signal with a 75% increase rate compared to Bitcoin (BTC).

Clearly the owner of the account again, based on this surge of development he expects Litecoin transactions to outperform Bitcoin transactions, at least this year.

For now, transactions in Bitcoin are still ahead of this race with cumulative volumes reaching 227,000 compared to Litecoin, 168,000.

It could be that this trend is driven by Bitcoin mining restrictions in China. Again the electricity consumption per Litecoin transaction consumes only 18,522 kWh compared to Bitcoin, 707 kWh.

However, it is still too early to assess these changes due to environmental factors. There are still many more crypto networks that are more environmentally friendly and much faster than Litecoin.

It may be concluded that the increase in transaction records in Litecoin and vice versa for Bitcoin, shows that Satoshi Nakamoto’s assets are only worth as a savings asset.

Litecoin can actually be said to be a mirror of Bitcoin as the network was developed based on the idea to the establishment of Bitcoin, only with various variations of improvements.

Even Litecoin was elevated as ‘silver’ to Bitcoin ‘gold’, although Ethereum is far more valuable than this cryptocurrency which is currently ranked 13th based on CoinMarketCap.
