Techna-X Acquires 49% Stake in NHK

Techna-X Bhd has entered into a sale and purchase agreement to acquire a 49% stake in NHK Energy Construction Sdn Bhd.


Executive Chairman Tunku Naquiyuddin ibni Tuanku Ja’afar said the acquisition is expected to further accelerate the company’s expansion into the green energy segment of smart cities in Malaysia and the Asia Pacific region.

Meanwhile, NHK Managing Director Nik Hilmi Kadir said the collaboration with Techna-X would open up opportunities in offering integrated smart city solutions to the market.



“NHK will benefit greatly from synergies with Techna-X’s smart digital ecosystem, data analytics, mobile data including IoT solutions.


"With Techna-X's expertise and financial support, NHK will intensify its offerings to local councils and increase its launch nationwide," he added.
