Believe it or not, the majority of hedge funds will venture into crypto investing in 2026.

A hedge fund or hedge fund is a portfolio that exists as a result of a combination of several individual and institutional investors. They will then invest in a variety of assets such as common stocks, bonds, commodities and futures.

A survey conducted by the Netherlands fund management and corporate company, Intertrust Group found that as much as 7.2% of hedge funds assets will be invested in crypto in the next 5 years.

If true, the rate would cover about $ 312 billion from the entire sector.

In fact, as many as 17% of 100 respondents are expected to own over 10% of crypto investments by 2026.

While hedge funds executives from North America, Europe and Britain intend to add 1% to their portfolios in crypto.

This means hedge funds can begin to consider their strategies in asset retention, strengthening operational controls related to crypto investments, and most importantly validation of those assets.

Since the crypto market gained attention in 2020 in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, many hedge funds have already begun to show interest. In fact, Bridgewater, which is skeptical of crypto, is now reportedly ‘stalking’ Bitcoin (BTC).
