On Tuesday Britain had urged the European Union to raise concerns in the market over relations between the two countries. Britain has urged the European Union to help find a solution to trade constraints with Northern Ireland before the end of this month.
Since the UK withdrawal agreement from the EU last year, trade relations between Britain and the bloc have deteriorated. Tensions escalated as both sides blamed each other for playing a role as enshrined in their trade agreements covering logistics to Northern Ireland.
Under the agreement, Britain is expected to check out goods to Northern Ireland and the EU on the other hand asks that there be no 'back door' issue.
However, the UK has extended the inspection time until June 30 to minimize supply disruptions of goods. The move further increases tensions between the two sides who are still at loggerheads over how to resolve the issue.
Prime Minister's spokesman Boris Johnson called for an urgent solution to the problem, saying if there was no joint solution before June 30 then Northern Ireland would not sell items such as frozen meat from Britain.
For example, if no solution can be found in this short time then it is expected that EU -UK relations will deteriorate.
