Twitter founder Jack Dorsey today confirmed his firm, Square is in plans to develop a Bitcoin wallet device.
The announcement was made by head of product development, Jesse Dorogusker in a Twitter tweet early this morning local time before Dorsey tweeted again: "We're implementing #Bitcoin".

In fact, since last month, Dorsey has been giving hints regarding the development of Bitcoin wallets as a whole, starting with the software to the design of the device.
Before this, Dorsey and Square have already shown commitment to Bitcoin. For example, Square has made a purchase of 8,000 BTC ($ 262 million) for its balance sheet.
And Dorsey himself once attended the Bitcoin 2021 conference in Miami.
Since the Bitcoin wallet that will be launched is a device, it is also synonymous as a cold wallet because it will not be connected to the internet.
Unlike hot wallets, cold wallets are much safer from privacy or virus attacks.
