VeChain (VET) owners can now shop online on several leading platforms such as Amazon, Ebay, Walmart and Etsy using VET.
This good news follows the collaboration signed between Shopping.io and VeChain.
However, purchases using VET on the Amazon platform are only open to 7 countries so far: United States (US), United Kingdom (UK), Canada, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain.
As a measure to encourage purchases using VET, owners of these coins will receive a 2% discount on each purchase using VET for the first two weeks starting July 9th.
Shopping.io founder and CEO, Arbel Arif described the collaboration with VeChain as a great achievement for the firm.
Where not, VeChain is a pioneer of real -world business applications with international operations in Singapore, Luxembourg, Japan, China, France, Italy and the US.
Indeed Shopping.io from the very beginning launched collaborations with some of the leading cryptocurrencies and exciting new projects, in line with the company’s vision. Indirectly, this effort also closes the gap in the crypto sector into the e-commerce industry.
At the time of writing, VET is trading at $ 0.07545, down over 3% in 24 hours. Since hitting an all -time high on April 17, $ 0.2782, the asset has however declined more than 72% following the collapse of the crypto market.
