Xi Jinping Does Not Allow Anyone To Bully China

Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed that his country has never bullied, oppressed or subjugated people from other countries, and it never will, when speaking at the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China on Thursday.

Following that, he warned that foreign powers trying to bully or oppress the country, would find them on the battlefield of the Great Wall of China.

The statement came after China faced criticism from world powers over allegations of human rights violations in Xinjiang and its crackdown on Hong Kong.

While not mentioning the countries involved, but it clearly points to the United States and G7 member states that previously loudly opposed China’s domination.

Relations between the U.S. and China have deteriorated in recent times due to trade issues, technological espionage and a coronavirus pandemic that has left the world severely affected.

Meanwhile, the Taiwan issue is also a major source of tension. While democratic Taiwan sees itself as a sovereign state, Beijing views the island as a separate province.

The U.S., based on its own laws, is asked to help Taiwan to defend itself in case Beijing uses their force to take back the island.

As a result, Xi emphatically said that China would continue to maintain their commitment to unification with Taiwan.
