In the latest development, TRON has launched the ‘TRON Arcade’ fund in collaboration with the pioneering non-fungible token (NFT) project, APENFT and the DeFi project, WINKLink.
TRON Arcade is part of the GameFi project, which is a combination of three sectors: DeFi, NFT, virtual games.
The alleged $ 300 million fund is a special allocation to support developers creating play-to-earn concept games, while building sustainable DeFi content and entertainment communities in the TRON, APENFT, and WINKLink ecosystems.
GameFi opens up opportunities for players to generate rewards through games as highlighted by game founders Axie Infinity (AXS) and The Sandbox (SAND).
According to TRON, the fund will support various GameFi projects over the next three years. This demonstrates TRON's serious efforts in promoting the widespread adoption of blockchain technology and increasing the number of users.
Meanwhile, the founder of TRON has highlighted NFT -related initiatives through the launch of the fund, ‘JUST NFT Fund’ last March.
