The outlook for the aviation industry has seen a positive impact and a resurgence following the reopening of the tourism sector which started in Langkawi to tourists who have been fully vaccinated.

According to CGS-CIMB Securities, Malaysia Airports Holding Bhd (MAHB) is likely to benefit directly from the domestic travel bubble.

Airlines such as AirAsia Group Bhd are also expected to receive 'durian runtuh' despite having to face high competition, low fares and so on.

CGS-CIMB added that although the Covid-19 detection test had been made mandatory before undertaking a trip to Langkawi, there was still a risk of tourists infected with Covid-19 entering the island.

As well as it is also risky which is expected to have some newly infected tourists bring the virus into the tourist's home state.

If Covid-19 infection spreads more widely during the implementation, it may be stopped for a while in the future.

The reopening of such a domestic trip or adventure does not mean it is a smooth and stable progress as well as a credit for having fun instead it is a challenge along the way.
