Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) launched the new-look I-Plus National Education Savings Scheme (SSPN) product and was named ‘Simpan SSPN Plus’.
This appearance is renewed with improvements whereby education savings are combined with protective takaful benefits.
Save SSPN Plus is a very competitive and unique product that will provide various benefits and privileges to depositors.
Following that, PTPTN has entered into strategic partnerships with three takaful operators, namely Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Bhd, Great Eastern Takaful Bhd and Takaful Ikhlas Family Bhd.
PTPTN chief executive officer, Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majig said that the benefits to be received include takaful protection up to RM1.2 million protection up to the age of 69 years.
Apart from that, other benefits include terminal illness up to RM200,000, funeral arrangements up to RM10,000 and outpatient treatment for accidents up to RM3,000.
This product will also provide great privileges such as competitive dividends, tax assessment relief, shariah -compliant savings guaranteed by the government.
"This is the best platform for the community to continue saving for higher education purposes and in line with the PTPTN Strategic Plan to be achieved," he added.
The plan includes planning to manage funds efficiently according to best governance, integrity and strategy.
At the same time, it will make SSPN the main product of education savings in Malaysia as well as strengthen education loans and various aspects that are more optimal and excellent.
