Bitcoin (BTC) took six months before recording its latest all -time high (ATH), $ 66,909 last night local time.

The previous ATH, $ 64,863 was recorded in April, making this jump of 3% to a level of nearly $ 67,000.

However at the time of writing, BTC is back trading at a low of $ 64,824, with a 1.54% jump in 24 hours.

Bitcoin's performance at the same time also prompted a positive movement in the price of altcoins:

Nexo (NEXO): +19.08%, traded at $ 2.13

Litecoin (LTC): +10.58%, traded at $ 206.71

Ethereum (ETH): +8%, traded at $ 4,185.

Solana (SOL): +17.40%, traded at $ 183.36

The only major factor driving Bitcoin’s positive movement can be seen at the recent launch of the Bitcoin ETF by ProShares.

The presence of ETFs based on cryptocurrencies can also indirectly trigger the growth of the price of cryptocurrency assets.

Again this is the first Bitcoin ETF approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) since the initial application was submitted in 2017, of course it excites Bitcoin fans and investors.
