6 Important Economic Data News Market Focus This Week (November 8-12, 2021)

The following are some of the important economic data that will be the focus of the market throughout the week.


German Economic Sentiment ZEW Survey (Tuesday 6.00pm): German economic survey data will signal the current health of Europe with readings still forecast at positive levels although likely to be slightly lower than previous readings.


US Producer Price Index Data (Tuesday 9.30pm): Also giving an indication for the inflation rate in the United States (US), the PPI data for October will be the focus of investors with expectations of a rise on the latest reading figures.



US Inflation Data (Wednesday 9.30pm): Being the focus of the central bank, US consumer price index data that measures inflation will be assessed on whether to support the policy tightening measures announced by the Federal Reserve (Fed) at last week’s meeting.


Australian Jobs Data Report (Thursday 8.30am): After losing around 138,000 jobs in September, job growth in Australia is projected to recover with an expectation of around 50,000 jobs to be recorded for October. However, the unemployment rate is also projected to increase.


UK Gross Domestic Product Data (Thursday 3.00pm): Preliminary readings for UK economic growth for the third quarter will have an impact on the movement of the Pound this week when lower reading figures are expected.


US Consumer Sentiment Data (Friday 11.00 PM): Will drive the movement of the US dollar over the weekend, an initial assessment of consumer sentiment in the United States will be the focus event for the close of trading this week.
