After confirming that AMC Theaters will add Shiba Inu as one of the payment options for making certain purchases, CEO Adam Aron finally came forward to answer questions raised by the community.
In general, Adam Aron announced that the addition will begin in the first few months of 2021. This leads to an indication that one of the world’s largest movie theater chains - AMC Entertainment Holdings - has shown high confidence in the crypto industry over the past few months.
Last week, AMC Entertainment announced it had accepted several crypto assets as a payment medium. The crypto assets involved include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Litecoin (LTC).
More exciting for cryptocurrency investors, Adam Aron also mentioned Dogecoin (DOGE) as the next cryptocurrency to be accepted by AMC Entertainment.
In a short time after the public also voted for SHIB to be listed. In response to the community's request, Aron finally updated his plan by listing Shiba Inu as a payment medium.
In an update via twitter page, Aron informed that Shiba Inu will be available in the next 60-120 days.
In addition, Aron stated that the move will be done after a partnership with cryptocurrency service provider, BitPay.
