Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao recently revealed his portfolio in an interview with the Associated Press. In the interview he confirmed that the only crypto asset he owns other than Binance Coin (BNB) is Bitcoin (BTC).
He noted that he had bought Bitcoin in 2014 and still holds most of it. In addition, Zhao announced his intention to channel some of his wealth.
Zhao said, “I bought some Bitcoin in 2014. I spend a little of it from time to time, but I hold most of it. The other crypto asset I hold, which constitutes the majority of my net worth, is BNB. At the same time, I intend to channel most of my wealth. ”
In the interview he also stated that the opportunities offered by the crypto market are beyond expectations. The surge in crypto meme assets is among the obvious examples.
“For something valuable, you just need another person to buy it. For something to have liquidity, you need a large number of people to buy or sell it. Once you have liquidity, something has value according to the market ” - Zhao
In the interview Zhao also discussed various aspects of crypto regulation and how crypto adoption can be massive. He stressed that crypto has high ‘volatility’ as it is a relatively small market, compared to traditional assets. In other words, the larger the food market will be the less volatility it will be.
