The Discord community scoffed at the crypto industry through a decision taken by Discord co-founder and CEO Jason Citron recently.
It started after Citron hinted at wanting to integrate a crypto wallet, MetaMask with Discord via a tweet counter -sharing of Not Boring CEO Packy McCormick on Twitter on November 9th.

While the news brought excitement to the crypto community, it was not on behalf of the Discord community urging Citron to forget the ambition of unifying the platform with a crypto wallet.
In fact, there are a handful of Discord communities that threaten it to cancel Nitro subscriptions, including labeling non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are Ponzi schemes and damaging the environment due to high energy consumption to mine cryptocurrencies.
As a result, Citron once again posted a reply tweet on November 11 which read:
“We have no current plans to implement this concept. For now we are focusing on consumer protection from spam and fraud issues. Web3 has many benefits but at the same time there are many issues that we need to refine. ”
For the record, Web 3.0 can be considered a new era of the internet which will combine blockchain with cryptocurrency.
This is where the changes to social media, commerce, games, and more will begin through continuous integration and its ability to deliver value digitally.
