Cardano’s first ERC-20 converter, AGIX has been airing on testnet since December 7th.
The presence of the latest functionality means Cardano is able to support the incoming transfer of ERC-20 tokens from Ethereum and vice versa.
At the same time AGIX transactions can be done with high capacity at low cost.
The first time the Hong Kong Input Output (IOHK) announced the presence of this converter was in mid -May 2021.
In the same month as well, Alonzo’s first test was launched.
Without the Alonzo hard fork, setting up an ERC-20 converter would be impossible. Because of that, the presence of smart contracts makes everything Cardano targeted a reality.
Meanwhile, Cardano is also sustaining the presence of a decentralized financial platform (DeFi) and it is expected that its users may fully enjoy the functionality next year.
For example on December 5, Cardano launched a decentralized exchange, SundaeSwap as a initiator to the DeFi phenomenon on the network.
However, the developer of the platform has already reminded the Cardano community to anticipate the presence of bugs as they are still budding in the ecosystem.
