Sweat those anti-vaccines!
Google's Alphabet Inc. told its employees that they would be fired if they did not follow the Covid-19 vaccination instructions.
Citing a report from CNBC, Google's superiors have told its employees that they have been given until Dec. 3 to upload their vaccination status or apply for medical or religious exemptions.
For anyone who has passed that date, Google will contact employees who have not yet uploaded their status and for employees who do not comply with vaccination instructions by January 18, they will be given 'paid administrative leave' for 30 days then 'unpaid leave' for 6 months and finally terminated service.
So far, Google has not given further statement on the matter.
Previously, google had postponed plans to return to office due to the emergence of the Omicron variant and its employees' opposition to the government's vaccination mandate.
