Jackpot! Ape Bored NFT Worth RM1.27 Million Wrongly Sold At RM12,700!

‘Typo’ - it seems that almost everyone has a typo syndrome, no matter in messaging communication or article writing.

Recently one individual, a non-fungible token (NFT) seller for the Bored Ape NFT limited edition collection sold the art at a price tag of $ 3,000 (RM 12,706.50).

Even though the actual price of the NFT is worth $ 300,000 (RM 1.27 million).

It is understood an individual known as Max (maxnaut) listed the token on the OpenSea platform on Saturday and mistakenly placed a dot mark on the original price of 75 ether (ETH), making the asset traded at a very cheap price - 0.75 ETH only!

This may be a typo that benefits the NFT buyer. But, it was clearly a loss for Max as he lost $ 250,000 overnight after deducting the transaction price at a value of 8 ETH ($ 34,000).

Many still don’t understand why NFT art can be such a crazy expensive asset that it doesn’t make sense.

It is not because of its quality or aesthetic nature but the value of NFT depends on speculation and its value in the market.

It's okay, Max. Maybe after this we have to be more careful. Or if you want to be typed again, you can let us know in advance.
