This exciting news came almost a month after Acala Network and Moonbeam won the first two Polkadot parachain slots.
Through this latest announcement means the launch of Astar Network in Polkadot will take place on December 17, along with 4 other parachains: Acala Network, Moonbeam and two other protocols.
While the main function of Astar Network began operations in January with the expectation that the entire Polkadot and Astar ecosystem will be an important focus of Web 3.0 (Web3).

This network was once known as the Plasm Network.
It is Polkadot’s decentralized application hub (dApp) that started in Japan.

Astar’s win involved the allocation of more than 10.3 million DOT tokens, out of 27,100 investors in the bidding.
Ready investors all! The Polkadot network will be lively with the launch of 5 new projects on 17 December.
Analysts expect bullish for the DOT price, again touching the all -time high (ATH), $ 55.
At the time of writing, DOT is trading at $ 27.47, down nearly 3% in 24 hours. At the same time, these assets are down nearly 50% from previous ATH records.
